We are pleased to announce that Toni-Marie Ion-Brown has been appointed the new General Manager of the Calgary Petroleum Club.
Toni-Marie joined the Petroleum Club in 1990, and has consistently demonstrated her dedication to the Club. In 1999, she became the Club’s Food & Beverage Manager. In 2015, she was promoted to Assistant General Manager after completing the Certified Club Manager (CCM) Program at the Ted Rogers School of Hospitality at Ryerson University.
As Assistant Manager, Toni-Marie lead the Club through Calgary’s economic downturn by maintaining the standard of excellence our Club is known for. She played an integral role in the planning and approval of our 2017 renovation, currently in progress.
As the Club enters its 70th year, we are proud to have Toni-Marie leading the Club towards a bigger, bolder vision for the future. We invite you to learn more about Toni-Marie’s history with the Club at the link below.
We are very pleased to report that the final approval for the proposed Club renovations passed at the March 30th, 2017 Board of Governors meeting. With the approval we will be closing the Club on June 15th to begin our renovation. We expect that the renovation will take approximately 3 months to complete and will be open at the beginning of October. We will continue to communicate with you throughout the summer with progress reports about the renovations and news about future events at the Club.
